Howest Strengthens i4S Expertise in Cybersecurity for Offshore Safety

We are pleased to announce the participation of Howest in the Offshore for Sure (O4S) project, with Gert-Jan Wille as the lead researcher. Leveraging its expertise in cybersecurity, Howest plays a crucial role in designing smart and secure maintenance systems for offshore energy solutions.

O4S, funded by Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland, focuses on developing innovative offshore energy solutions by bringing together Belgian and Dutch technology developers, service providers, NGOs, and knowledge institutions. Howest contributes not only by enhancing cybersecurity but also by serving as an educational partner, offering student exchanges, guest lectures, site visits, and summer training programs.
